For the past few weeks, Raina has been attending a sign language class for kids at the library. She is a little shy during class, so she just takes everything in and then we practice at home. Here she is with her teacher and my friend Jolene, signing I love you.
Raina's signing vocabulary has gotten to be pretty big. Recently she has been signing the names of the colors, although she can't recognize the colors yet. Pretty much everything is identified as red or white, although if you sign another color she will sometimes copy it. It's pretty cute- all day today she has been signing yellow when I say "yellow".
Here she is signing "more" for more garlic bread at Sammy's, one of our favorite restaurants.
Who doesn't want more garlic bread?
