(That's an old picture)Raina just finished the summer reading program at the library. We kept track of how much time she spent reading each day and for each 30 minutes she got an entry into a drawing for prizes. She got a frisbee for a prize at the halfway mark and now that she's done with all 8 weeks she got a certificate and a coupon for the indoor waterpark.
Here is her card, all filled up! She averaged about 2.5 hours per week.
Next week they will be having a colsing ceremony at the zoo, and each kids gets another little prize and they do the drawing for the big prizes.
Raina's next activity is being deployed! I signed her up for a children's deployment, where the kids get "recalled" and have to go to base, where they get dog tags, a t-shirt, and get "deployed" to an imaginary country. They get to take tours of some aircraft and vehicles and have lunch. Daddy's not the only one hard at work!
