Raina went on her 1st camping trip and had a blast! We went to a small lake about 45 minutes from home. We stayed for just one night because we were a group of 3 moms, 4 toddlers, and 2 babies! Here is Raina trying out the tent in the backyard.

Raina shared her astronaut ice cream with a friend. It looks like they are mad...but they shared very nicely!
After dinner, we went swimming again! Raina carried her noodle all the way to the water.
After swimming, the kids made some bracelets with glow in the dark beads.
Campfire time = junk food time! Raina didn't want a s'more but had chocolate and cheesy poofs!
Signing "down" to get down from her chair. She just points down, but sometimes get overly enthusiastic and her finger points all over the place.
Then bedtime! We got a HUGE unforecasted thunderstorm! The lightning was blinding even in the tent. It went on for more than 2 hours, and we were all soaked. Even Raina's hair was wet. All the kids slept through it, although they slept very restlessly and woke up for a few minutes each. Raina woke up when it was got light out, about 6 am.
Since we were wet and tired, we started packing up.
Order up! Raina makes breakfast, which was bread with leftover strawberry pie filling (from our pie-iron pies) because our quiche got wet in the cooler and I couldn't light the tin can stove because it was too windy.
The others got up shortly after, and we were on our way home by about 8:45.
