After presents, we went to the library. Raina really likes the library. The kid's section is very big and has a lot of little chairs and tables and a canoe to climb in. She likes returning her books.
As we were leaving the library, we saw a train. The tracks go right behind the library parking lot, so we stopped to watch it. Raina is very into trains.
Then we had lunch at Pizza Hut!
After naptime, we went to the grocery store to get strawberries and raspberries, Raina's favorite fruits. She got a giant lollipop too. I think it will take a year to finish it!
We had a quick dinner an then went to the movies with Raina's friend Julian and his mom. We saw Toy Story 3. This is Raina in her chair, which she sat in for about 2 minutes before getting folded up inside.
The kids did great! Raina sat on my lap for the first half, then stood up for a while peeking over the seats in front of us, and then ended up on Jeanne's lap with Julian. They both ate a lot of popcorn, found the M&Ms Jeanne and I were hiding, and somehow got into my drink without me knowing because someone chewed my straw! They really liked the movie. They said "uh oh" and "wow" at the right times and were really into it. It was a good movie for them too, because even the bad guys were toys and were animated, so it wasn't too scary. The little girl in the movie looked like Raina. A lot of people have said this to me! She's shy too, like the real Raina. Her name is Bonnie. Here is a video clip of Bonnie from the movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaBuhavKwcw
What a fun birthday!

Oh she is gonna have a field day with the trains here. If it rains we have a library nearby with a good kids room and can take out some books for her.
