We celebrated Raina's birthday a few days early because Grampa A. and Great Gramma A. were in town. I made Raina a dress and decorations to match in green, blue and purple. Even the cake was those colors, but it was vanilla flavored. We have been practicing blowing for the candles for about a month, but she wouldn't do it when it was time to blow out the candles. She gets a little shy when everyone is looking at her.
We had a BBQ outside with some friends and family, and a bonfire, but Raina was asleep for most of the fire. We said no gifts, but most people ignored us. Raina is enjoying her new toys and clothes. I made Raina a variety of food out of felt for her to play with. She likes the orange the best. Gramma Donna was being silly and out a strip of felt bacon on Raina's head, and now when Raina plays she puts the bacon on her head. Silly Gramma and Raina!
