Raina loved Halloween. Our first activity was trick-or-treating at Edgewood Vista Assisted Living on Friday. It was a very nice place and the people that lived there enjoyed seeing the kids. We went with Jeanne and Julian, who was dressed as a gingerbread boy. People asked if they were twins because they rode in a double stroller together! They are only a few weeks apart, but Julian is blond and long and thin, so they look nothing alike! Here's Raina as Yoda, ready to start the trick or treating.

We met up with another friend, Tonia. This is her little boy, Levi, who is 3 months older than Raina. He is Obi Wan Kenobe!

On the ride home after trick or treating, Raina and Julian broke into their candy. Raina had a blue sucker! Here's the stash:

Blue lips!

We carved a big pumpkin we got from the pumpkin patch last week. Raina was a little hesitant at first, but then jumped right in.

Ahh! Slimy!

Hand through the nose!

We had mummies for dinner- Lil smokies and crescent roll dough. They look like little babies!

I took Raina trick or treating in the neighborhood while Pat passed out candy. She loved it! At first she wouldn't let go of the candy so it was hard for her to get more, but soon she figured out to put the candy down and she would hold her hand out before the person even got to the door! We were out for about an hour and a half. At the very last house, she even knocked on the door.

We let Raina choose a piece of candy to eat. She choose a mini Reese's peanut butter cup, and she loved it.

We are going to trade most of Raina's candy for a toy. I am going to buy a toy and put it in her pumpkin bucket for her to find. I suppose I will have to dispose of the candy after that... ;-)

Way cute! We did the switch witch to trade toys for candy. Glad you had a good time...without us..snif, snif...
those "mummies" would be good for a baby shower too
I love the picture of Raina reaching her hand in the slime. It's surprising she would do that.
