Raina's summer activities

Just one more week of gymnastics left and Raina's on summer break!  It certainly seems quiet already, which is good because I might actually do my homework and I have a lot of things to make for the shop!

Took keep her busy, Raina is going to go to a kid's sign language class at the library once a week.  My friend teaches it, and the first class was today.  The kids learned colors and are going to learn animals next week.

I also signed Raina up for a summer reading program, where the kids record how much time they spend reading at home and can win prizes.  They have a big picnic at the zoo at the end of the summer and each get a gift and a pass to the waterpark.

We also plan on going to the park, zoo, & pool a lot!  Today we went to the splashpad with Raina's friend Julian, but they weren't really into it so we went to the playground next to it.

We also plan on travelling to Louisiana at least once to visit Pat, and we'll probably go to NY too.  In the fall we want to go to England to visit Auntie Heather!
