Raina and the ice cream cone

Raina is getting tooth #8 in, on the bottom, and has been a little fussy the past few days. Yesterday we went to China Star for dinner, and for dessert I gave Raina an ice cream cone with a little ice cream in it, thinking the cold would help make her tooth feel better. At first she wouldn't even pick it up. She leaned over the table to lick it for the first few minutes, until she finally grabbed it and wouldn't let go. Pat thought she ate enough of it and we were ready to go, so he took it away from her and she cried. Not the screaming, angry, tantrum kind of crying, but heartbroken sobbing with her head hung down. So sad! We gave it back to her and she finished it and was happy again. For snack this afternoon she had yogurt in a cone. Appearently she really likes cones!

I think she likes things that don't appear to be food, but are actually tasty food, its a nice little surprise - cones, cotton candy...
