Raina's baptism

Raina was baptized on April 18th at Our Lady of Grace church. Gramma Donna and Grampa Dave, Uncle Dan, Great Gramma Glo, Grampa A., and Auntie Jenny came all the way out to North Dakota for it. Raina wore the same gown that Gramma Donna and her siblings, me and Uncle Dan all wore.

The ceremony was in the evening, so Raina was getting a little tired. She was crying before Fr. Bruce dunked her, but she stopped crying when she was in the water (probably the opposite of most babies). He did the traditional immersion rather than just pouring the water over her head. She is a little whimpery in the pictures. After the ceremony we had dinner at my favorite Minot restaurant, Michael's, and Gramma Glo bought a cake. Gramma Donna let Raina grab a piece of cake for herself!
